Society Hall  "where community celebrates!"

A group of like-minded folks have banded together to acquire & save this old church, and give it back to the community as an event center.  On June 1, 2015, we officially received our 501(C)(3) status for the Society Hall Foundation. On August 3, 2015, with a little help from a lot of people, we were able to close on the property. Yay!

Concerts, plays, workshops, weddings, memorial services, meetings, film festivals {your idea here} - in an inviting, warm setting. Isn't it just beautiful?

In the coming months, we'll be looking for additional funding, and will book a few preliminary events. Additionally, we'll be looking at other sources to help fund the necessary projects to modernize the building and improve functionality.

Status update:

We are now members of the SLV Enterprise Zone. The enterprise zone allows donors to gain an additional 25% tax credit from Colorado for the donation. Donations to the Society Hall qualify for Enterprise Zone credit. To donate to the Society Hall and receive Enterprise Zone credit, make your check out to “SLV Enterprise Zone” with “Society Hall” written on the bottom of the check on the memo line. If you have never donated through the SLV Enterprise Zone, please include the last 4 digits of your social security number.
